Have Questions?

We recommend hiring an interior designer before or around the time of hiring an architect, builder or general contractor.

Knowledgeable designers are able to enhance the project experience and ensure that you get the best end results.

Our role, as your designer, is to guide you and be an advocate throughout the process.

Mostly, formal training and skill. The needs and complexity of your project is the determining factor when making a hiring decision

If the scope of your project consists mostly of movable furniture, rugs, paint & lighting, then hiring an Interior Decorator is probably a good option for you.

If your project requires construction, we recommend hiring a designer to work with your builder. This is because your project will require a concept, a budget, and construction specs and you will want to work with someone who has received proper training.

Keep in. mind, many  trained designers also offer interior decorating services. So don’t feel like you have to choose one over the other.

We’ll help you make the = decisions that will result in a stunning home or work space and more importantly, a positive experience.

Through a process called Discovery, we get to know you

During discovery, usually the first 1-3 days of your project, we’ll collect a lot information from you about your project.

In addition to our intake form, we’ll schedule to meet over video to understand your goals, limitations  and preferences. We like to use visualizations and images during collaboration sessions to establish direction for your style.

We ask many questions and LISTEN to your answers–because your answers tell us who you are, what you care about, what things hold sentimental value to you, and how you intend to express yourself through this new space.

Your investment. Your Choice!

Setting a budget is the first and most important step in the planning process.

As a homeowner you are smart. You know how much you want to invest, but most homeowners are usually unsure of what is a reasonable budget for their project and that’s normal too. Speak to an interior designer. Our goal is to  propose a project with a reasonable scope-of-work for your budget.

What is reasonable depends on your style and taste. The cost of a typical home improvement project ranges from$150 to $350 per square foot for labor and materials. Factors that determine cost are the quality of materials and service providers you choose.

If you are unsure of your how to set a budget for you project, We guide you through this process.

Each project will vary based on the individual scope of work. For interior decoration and minor renovations, the general timeline for project completion is approximately six to nine months from the initial Design Consultation to the Big Reveal. New construction and extensive renovation projects may take one to two years to build.

We work with clients, suppliers and providers from all across the World. Most our design work is done from our Philadelphia and Baltimore design studios.

YES! Many of projects begin with just one or two rooms. We don’t mind — it’s an excellent way to ease into the design process and build trust with our clients.

We look forward to the opportunity to design future spaces in your main home and your vacation properties or businesses. Some clients complete updates and renovations in phases. We begin our design journey, working hand-in-hand with you over time, ready for each new milestone.
